View Block Internet Regedit
PNG. First, make sure you're signed into the windows account you want to block applications in, hit win + r and enter regedit into the run box to open the registry editor. While it is possible to block certain websites using firewall software or other programs, you can also block websites using the windows registry.
I want to block all internet connections to and from my windows 7 machine, but allow it to access everything on the local network. 1.) open registry editor, press winkey + r and type regedit and enter or go to start => in search pane type regedit and enter. Unfortunately this means step 1.
Create a block list in the registry editor. I tried disabling ie8 from windows features. It can be dangerous to mess with windows 10's registry. Type regedit and press ok.
